Use of foil in the cultivation method "dam Culture" in fruit and vegetable farmin for covering dams:
Foil installation from autumn for
- Weed control
= less weed growth - Wind erosion reduction
= Soil protection - Reduction of water loss in the soil
- Use from both sides – Foil management:
white side up on warmer days for heat protection
blach side up on colder days for cold protection
= e.g. less purple colouring or inflorescent for white asparagus
- Sand filled pocket foil with 900 g/m (+/- 10%)
- Continuously welded with transverse seam approx. every 2000 mm
- Opaque
- UV resistance: approx. 36 months
- Foil thickness: approx. 150 μ
- Available foil width:
approx. 1400 mm (+/- 5%) or
approx. 1600 mm (+/- 5%)
